Terms and Conditions

General Information

Great Baltic Travel 2011 is a campaign organized from 5 May to 15 September in all three Baltic countries: Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.

Organizers
Great Baltic Travel is jointly organized by the Estonian Tourist Board of Enterprise Estonia, the Lithuanian Tourism Department under the Ministry of Economy and the Latvian Tourism Development Agency (hereinafter referred to as the Organizers).

Participants
The campaign is open for participation by all residents of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania as well as tourists from other countries (hereinafter referred to as the Participants).

Contents of the game
The participants visit the objects or sites selected for the campaign in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania (hereinafter referred to as Destinations) and substantiate each visit with a photograph which is identical to a photograph displayed in the brochure and on the web site of the campaign. The total number of Destinations is 30 (10 in Estonia, 10 in Latvia and 10 in Lithuania).

Additional information about the campaign and Destinations is available on the website at www.greatbaltic.eu as well as in campaign brochures which are freely available at tourist information centers of all three countries and in all Destinations.

Rules

  • To become Participant of Great Baltic Travel one needs to register on the website www.greatbaltic.eu.
  • To receive the Participant's special discount, each Travel Participant must have a Travel brochure available from Tourist Information Centers in all three Baltic countries, and to present the coupon for the visited site contained in the Travel brochure.
  • To win prizes of Great Baltic Travel 2011, Participants must have their photo taken at each visited Destination at the specific spot as indicated in the brochure and on the campaign’s website at www.greatbaltic.eu. Both the Destination and the Participant must be clearly visible on the photo.
  • To apply for the Grand Prize, Participants must visit at least 15 of the 30 Destinations prior to the end of the campaign – at least three (5) Destinations in each of all three Baltic countries.
  • To apply for the Baltic Prize, Participants must visit at least 9 of the 30 Destinations prior to the end of the campaign – at least three (3) Destinations in each of all three Baltic countries.
  • The photographs must be submitted to the Organizers of the Great Baltic Travel 2011 by 15 September 2011.
  • Photographs can be submitted via one of two methods: electronically, under the username of the Participant on the website of the travel game at www.greatbaltic.eu; or on paper (min. 9x13cm), sent by post to the Organizers of the travel game:

Prizes

Grand Prize:
Return airline tickets for two persons to one of the listed destinations of choice (Aalesund, Amsterdam, Athens, Baku, Barcelona, Bari, Budapest, Dublin, Dushanbe, Dusseldorf, Frankfurt, Gdansk, Geneva, Madrid, Nice, Odessa, Tashkent, Tromso, Umea, Vaasa, Venice, Vienna, Zurich or Manchester) by airBaltic. Accommodation for 2 nights in a double or twin room in a four star hotel with breakfast.

Prize for Estonian winner:
A weekend for two persons in a Baltic capital – return airline tickets by airBaltic to Riga or Vilnius, accommodation for 2 nights in a double or twin room in a four star hotel with breakfast.

Prize for Latvian winner:
A weekend for two persons in a Baltic capital – return airline tickets by airBaltic to Vilnius or Tallinn, accommodation for 2 nights in a double or twin room in a four star hotel with breakfasts.

Prize for Lithuanian winner:
A weekend for two persons in a Baltic capital – return airline tickets by airBaltic to Riga or Tallinn, accommodation for 2 nights in a double or twin room in a four star hotel with breakfasts.

Additional prizes:
During the course of the campaign, every month the Organizers draw attractive additional prizes (like Cruise to Stockholm by “Tallink” with overnight in Riga in “Tallink Hotel Riga” up to 4 persons and similar weekend packages) for the participants of each of the Baltic countries or others)

The prizes of the travel game are valid until 1 May 2012. The prizes can be used in case of the existence of vacancies. Use of the prizes is subject to prior reservation as per instructions of the service providers.

Any part of any prize or the use thereof is subject to all valid laws, rules and normative documents – the winner of a prize is responsible for insurance, applicable taxes and other additional costs which may not be mentioned in prize descriptions.

Prizes are not replaced with any other objects or money, and there is no compensation for any costs relating to the process of claiming a prize.

Identification of winners

  • Winners are identified and prizes drawn on 20.09.2011.
  • Names of the winners are published after the draw on the website of the Baltic Travel at www.greatbaltic.eu and the winners are contacted as per contact information entered upon registration.

Other terms and conditions

  • By registering for the Great Baltic Travel 2011, a Participant agrees to the terms and conditions of the travel game.
  • By registering for the campaign, a Participant gives the Organizers the right to use the personal information identified by the Participant upon registration (including first name, surname, city of residence and e-mail address) for the distribution of information about any similar campaigns.
  • Organizers or project managers of the Great Baltic Travel 2011 are forbidden to participate in the travel game. The Organizers are not responsible for the Participants or for any third parties for any liabilities, claims, injuries and/or damages possibly caused to Participants in conjunction with participation in the Baltic Tour 2010 travel game or use of prizes thereof.
  • All decisions of the Organizers related to the Great Baltic Travel 2011 are final and binding to all Participants of the Great Baltic Travel 2011.
