This manor house has preserved the environment of Counts Tyzenhauz. Just like in their times, concerts of chamber music, meetings and other events are held in the house. The manor house even displays authentic clothes of the Counts, including dresses by the famous Coco Chanel. Nowadays the Rokiškis Regional Museum is housed there. Its collection consists of more than 77 thousand items.

You will see a collection of accordions, harmonicas, zithers, mandolins and other ancient musical instruments as well as an insight into the process of manufacturing new musical instruments at Gunars Igaunis’ Ancient Musical Instrument Workshop. You will also hear stories about “the previous life” of the collected musical instruments and their playing traditions.
